Brooke Alfaro, 2025

Location:

Yaco Art Gallery 53 East Street, Obarrio Panama City, Panama

Dates:

From May 23 to June 6, 2025

Artist:

Brooke Alfaro’s work is characterized by a constant exploration of the human being, their contradictions, and their emotional environment. In this retrospective, the artist unfolds a visual universe where the real and the imaginary coexist, giving rise to scenes that provoke unease, empathy, and reflection.

Through images that oscillate between the intimate and the surreal, Alfaro presents scenes laden with symbolism, irony, and tension. His works confront the viewer with the absurd, the beautiful, and the unsettling, revealing a visual narrative that questions the everyday and dismantles certainties, inviting deeper, more reflective observation.

Far from offering definitive answers, the exhibition opens a space for personal interpretation. Each work functions as a fragment of a larger narrative, in which the viewer is invited to confront the vulnerability, the strangeness, and the poetic aspects of the human experience.
